Height Measurement Gauge (HMG)

Overview

Tool height calibration is one of the highest-frequency setup tasks in any specialty contact lens, IOL, or ICL production lab — and inconsistency at this step propagates directly into lens quality. The DAC Height Measurement Gauge (HMG) makes diamond tool height calibration faster, more precise, and fully self-contained within the machine.

The HMG uses a physical gauging device to soft-locate the tool bit at the machine, combined with a user-friendly on-screen indicator that guides the lab technician through precise, consistent height calibration for any diamond tool. No external measuring devices. No awkward setups beside the machine. No measuring equipment to maintain, calibrate, or misplace. All required software is included.

  • Precise on-lathe diamond tool height calibration — no external measuring devices required
  • Physical gauging device with on-screen indicator for accurate, guided calibration
  • Consistent results regardless of operator experience level
  • Reduces tool calibration setup time — more time cutting, less time calibrating
  • All software included — no additional licensing or setup
  • Standard inclusion on ALMe; available as option on ALM and MLC platforms

Reduce calibration time and improve tool-height consistency.
