The DAC software platform covers the complete range of specialty contact lens and IOL/ICL geometries through the intuitive DAC Script Language — no proprietary coding knowledge required, and no need to switch between separate design and machining environments. Standard algorithms include spheres, aspheres, torics, bi-torics, multifocals, quad-sym designs, and a wide range of more complex geometries. For manufacturers developing proprietary lens designs, the platform imports points files for virtually any lens shape: text, binary, meridian, spiral, wave-corrected, and others. Third-party software integration is supported, enabling the DAC platform to function within existing design and data management workflows.
IOL/ICL PM Suite: the only software of its kind for IOL/ICL manufacturing
The DAC IOL/ICL Program Module (PM) Suite — developed exclusively by DAC International and available only on the MLCe Mill/Lathe Combo — is the only IOL/ICL manufacturing software that automatically calculates toolpaths for both optic and haptic parameters in a single step, with full blending capability built in. There is no manual toolpath construction. No switching between design files and machining parameters. From design input to machine-ready toolpath, the IOL/ICL PM Suite generates the complete IOL/ICL manufacturing program automatically.
The IOL/ICL PM Suite supports traditional C-loop and modified C-loop haptic designs, quad-haptic designs, toric IOL/ICL orientations (with full toric zone design and control), refractive and multifocal designs, diffractive multifocal and LRTS file formats, and A-toric (A-Conic) geometries. Additional software modules extend the platform for fully customized IOL/ICL designs beyond the standard library.
