Subject: Important Notice Regarding Machine Warranty Coverage
Dear Valued Customer,
Thank you for choosing DAC International as your trusted partner in precision equipment for the contact lens and IOL lens industry. We deeply appreciate your continued confidence in our products and services, and we remain committed to supporting your business with the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance.
As part of our ongoing efforts to protect the integrity and performance of your DAC equipment, we would like to remind you of an important aspect of our warranty policy.
To ensure the safety, performance, and longevity of your DAC machine(s), warranty coverage is strictly limited to equipment serviced or maintained by DAC International technicians or authorized service providers. Engaging third-party technicians who are not authorized by DAC International may compromise the performance of your system and will void the manufacturer’s warranty—effective immediately upon any such service or maintenance activity.
In addition to the warranty matters, using an unauthorized service provider or installing or using unauthorized parts, components or software may jeopardize the ability to install or run authorized upgrades or new products on your DAC machines.
Our Warranty policy is in place to:
- Preserve the precision and calibration of your equipment;
- Ensure only trained professionals with access to OEM parts and specifications work on your system;
- Protect your investment from unnecessary risk or damage caused by unqualified service or inferior / substandard or inappropriate parts.
What this means for you:
- If an unauthorized third party performs any form of service or maintenance on your DAC equipment—regardless of intent or scope—your warranty will be voided and installing or running authorized upgrades or new products on your DAC machines may be impossible due to faulty or non-compatible work performed by such unauthorized third party.
- If you are ever unsure whether a technician or service provider is authorized, please contact our team directly and we will be happy to confirm their status or schedule appropriate support by contacting us at: support@dac-intl.com
- If you install or integrate unauthorized parts, components or software on your DAC equipment – your warranty will be voided, and it may be impossible for DAC to upgrade your DAC equipment when upgrades or new products become available.
