Description
Calculens is a Windows-style PC program used for designing lenses and enables direct transfer to manufacture on the Opteq 100 and 100A Lathes (CAD/CAM).
New lenses can be created easily from the lens components library, which forms the building blocks for both standard and more advanced geometries. The lens designer will find pull-down menus, pop-up windows and help functions as standard.
Calculens further simplifies lens design and manufacture with useful software tools for visualization and measuring. Optimized application of the software becomes more apparent when used in conjunction with the Opteq 100 and 100A Lathes Material selection, cutting strategies, order entry functions and even screen presentation make the work of the operator much more productive.
Embedded maintenance and test functions help facilitate troubleshooting and minimize downtime. The open format of the software means that future enhancements are always provided for.
